I did the Langtang Valley trek with Shiva as my guide. The trek was stunning and Shiva was an amazing guide. He did everything in his power to make me comfortable during the journey, and really went above and beyond. He offered to carry my pack, carried apples for all days and of course taught me a lot about the local culture and about the mountains. He also chose very good tea houses to stay at and I was able to connect with the local villagers because of him. We also had a lot of fun sharing stories and learning about each others countries. I asked to walk alone at times as well which he respected and was a nice change from constantly walking together for so many hours everyday. As a young female solo traveler I also never felt uncomfortable with my guide. He treated me like family. The trek itself was 5 days long, with the first two days being the most challenging, and mainly through forest and valley. By the third day I really got to experience the feeling of being surrounded by huge snow capped mountains which was so beautiful. This is also when the trek became relatively easy and flat. We went to Kyanjin Ri and it was an absolutely stunning view. I would recommend going to Kyanjin Ri 2 if you are ok with the altitude. Passing the Langtang village was also a memorable moment and definitely felt emotional. In comparison to other treks I did in Nepal (AC circuit, Mardi Himal, Poon hill), I think Langtang is pretty easy and allows you to quickly get into the mountains. If you have the time I would stay in Kyanjin Gumba for a few days and do some day hikes from there as there are lots of viewpoints or even peaks to get to from there. All in all I had a great experience with this trekking company. Ramhari, the owner and my contact person, also went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. He checked in on me frequently and was very friendly. I can definitely recommend this company and the Langtang valley trek!
Langtang Valley Trek was a great experience!
Tsum valley trek an isolated tibetan settlementTook day tours to watch sunrise and to unesco sites with guide Min and had a fulfilling day. He gave very detailed information and was able to answer all the questions I posted regarding the various temples we visited. Recommended! Reasonable price and very good service
Wonderful experienceWe went for a 4 days trip to chitwan and it was amazing! Well organized and a warm welcome!! I recommend this trip!
Trip to chitwanWe had an awesome 7 night / 8 day trip on the Mt. Everest panorama trek with Ramhari. First we flew to Lukla and the weather was perfect! The next morning it started snowing and it snowed almost constantly the rest of the trek. The temperatures seldom rose above 10F degrees and we walked 60+ miles over ice covered rocks at elevations above 9,000 feet to Namche Bazar and finally to Tengboche Monastery at 12,687 feet. The skies cleared that morning and we had a spectacular view of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, a bit of Nuptse, Ama Dablam and other Himalayan peaks. A monk also opened the monastery and we were allowed in for a visit. Throughout the trip Ramhari was a gentleman and a caring guide who encouraged us up the mountain when the air was thin and the breathing got heavy! This is my second trip with Ramhari. ( My sons and I did the ABC trek with him in 2019.) I honestly would never use anyone else in Nepal! Thanks again for a wonderful adventure Ramhari!
Awesome Adventure On Mt. Everest Panorama Trek!We asked at the hotel reception of wonderful hotel Dream City in Kathmandu for a trip to Citwan National Park. We found that everything can be booked from there as a personalized package with Himalayan Trekking Path. We got exactly what we wanted with walking tour, Tharu village visit, Canoe trip, and a Jeep Drive through the park and an overnight stay at a watch tower. We were brought to the tourist bus with pick-up at Sauraha to the hotel. We had an excellent guide who made the whole program for us and a few other guest. The guide was brilliant in spotting animals for us. He was very flexible. For example as one of us got sick and missed the jeep tour he organized another shorter one the next day before we had to head off for the tower night. We saw a lot of Rhinos and some other animals. During the tower night, a Rhino mother and her baby came and slept directly under our tower. During the whole trip we where asked over WhatsApp if everything is fine and whether we have been picked up and so on.
Phantastic trip to Citwan National ParkThis is Mike and my friend Joe completed our Upper Mustang Trekking during Tiji Festival in 2019's May. it was more than the beautiful region in Nepal Himalayan desert zone boarding to tibet. remembering our Mustang trek gives me so much pleasure. Himalayan Trekking Path and Mr Ramhari organisation for the trip was very good. The accommodation with local people along the trek was very special, we were able to see and experience the Tibetian way of life in the Mustang, sharing a cup of tea or have a meal with them. walking through the Mustang is very inspirational and challenging with quite demanding climbs and descents. with beautiful views of the Himalayans. I still think it's one place where you really feel part of the landscape and not just another tourists. so I recommend a trek with Ramhari because of the small trek company he runs and also his knowledge of the area, customs and religion.
unforgettable Upper Mustang TrekFrom the moment we arrived in Kathmandu, Rami made us feel welcome and was more than happy to help us with our chosen itinerary. We discussed the different options available and he allowed us to tailor the route, as we wanted to include a side trip to Tilicho Lake. He even printed an itinerary and gave us approximate costs for different aspects of the trip. We decided to use a Porter/ Guide, so we could have flexibility throughout the trip. Ganga was incredibly caring, had impeccable English and was very enthusiastic about all aspects of the trek. You will be very lucky if Ganga supports you on your trek. It would not have been the same without him! The Annapurna Circuit was everything we hoped for and more. I highly recommend you use this organized and professional company to help you to plan your next adventure!
An incredible trip around the Annapurna CircuitRamhari and his team are very hospitable and knowledgeable about the area! My family and I had a very good experience from start to finish, not only on our ABC trek, but also right from when we arrived in Kathmandu. Our family was picked up from the airport on arrival and taken to Dream City where we had a great rest and great breakfast, the next day we traveled to Pokahara for one night before we started our trek. Throughout the whole experience, Ramhari was very organised and hospitable and ensured everyone was enjoying the trip, if we had any questions he was able to answer them, and if we had any special requests, Ramhari was onto them straight away. We were lucky to have great weather in the morning at ABC and had plenty of time to enjoy the views there as well as on the way up and down. I highly recommend Himalayan Trekking Path if you plan to Trek in Nepal!
Annapurna base camp via Poon Hill 9 day trekMy wife and 3 young sons attempted the Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) Trek in January 2002; but it was waist deep in snow. So, when I proposed to my 3 grown son's to try it again 17 years later, they all rallied behind the idea. We contacted Ramhari and we were all extremely impressed by his professionalism, thoroughness and fair price in planning our trek. Ramhari was our guide and Santos was our porter. The entire trip was seamless and we were well taken care of. Ramhari's prices were competitive and fair... in fact the best we found! Ramhari is very well educated… trained as a teacher with a master’s degree in mathematics, so he is uniquely qualified to help travelers budget their trip and provided a very thorough breakdown of costs for the trek. He is humble, honest, trustworthy and caring. I recommend him without reservation and believe you will have an amazing experience if you choose Himalayan Trekking Path for your mountain adventure in Nepal! He paced our days in a thoughtful manner and when our loads got heavy, either he or Santos would take our backpacks to help move us up the mountain. Even after the trek, Ramhari returned to Kathmandu and managed to get some laundry I had left there and bussed it to me in Pokhara. That was truly above and beyond the call of duty. I could not have been more pleased with the services provided by Ramhari and Himalayan Trekking Path and highly recommend them! We are already planning future treks to Langtang and EBC. Happy trails!
