Situated on the border of Nepal and Tibet, this majestic mountain boasts two base camps, each on opposite sides. The north base camp resides in Tibet, while the south base camp finds its home in Nepal. Both of these base camps provide an awe-inspiring experience for climbers seeking to conquer this formidable summit. However, it is the south Everest Base Camp, nestled within the breathtaking Sagarmatha National Park in the Solukhumbu district of Nepal, that truly captivates backpackers, hikers, trekkers, and climbers alike.

The National Park has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1976. It covers a vast area of 1,148 square kilometers and is home to numerous rivers, sherpa communities, Yak and Yeti, astonishing peaks, and a diverse range of indigenous flora and fauna. The Everest Base Camp Trekking is widely known as one of the most thrilling and sought-after trails in the world after the first ascent on May 29, 1953, by Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay. It provides an ideal mix of challenge and reward, making it a highly popular option among hikers and climbers globally.
