Our 17-day Helambu Gosaikunda Langtang Valley Trek begins with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubensi. We then follow the trail through the Langtang Valley trek, passing by the remarkable Gosaikunda Lake, before descending to Helambu and returning to Kathmandu. Along the way, we traverse lush woodlands of rhododendron and oaks, encounter cascading waterfalls, and enjoy picturesque landscapes. There is even a possibility of spotting the exquisite red panda, a rare and endangered animal. After a day of delightful sightseeing in Kathmandu, we head to Syabrubesi to kick off our trekking adventure. We trek through enchanting woodlands and the village of Lama Hotel, reaching the charming Langtang Village. Our journey continues to Kyangjin Gompa, where we immerse ourselves in Tibetan Buddhist culture at the magnificent monastery and sample yak cheese at the cheese factory. Returning to Lama Hotel, we then proceed to Thulo Syabru, Shin Gompa, and finally reach the sacred Gosainkunda. This holy lake is a significant site for Hindu and Buddhist pilgrims, believed to cleanse all sins with a dip in its waters. Hindu mythology also tells the mystical tale of Gosainkunda's origin.

It is believed that this renowned lake came into existence when the Hindu god Shiva plunged his trident into a mountain, causing the water he had consumed to alleviate the heat from the poison he had consumed in his attempt to save the universe to gush out. Alongside Gosainkunda, other lakes, such as Bhairav Kunda and Surya Kunda, were also formed during this extraordinary event. To experience the spiritual essence and find inner peace, we embark on a trek to Ghopte via Laurebina La Pass (4,610 meters), followed by a journey through various ethnic villages until we reach Melamchi Bazaar. Finally, we return to Kathmandu with a two-hour drive.

Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to witness the breathtaking beauty of the majestic snow-covered mountains, including Langtang Lirung (7,200m), Ganesh Himal (7,600m), Langtang II (7,227m), Gang Chhenpo (6,388m), Naya Kanga Ri (5,846m), and Dorje Lakpa (6,966m). Additionally, you can also catch a glimpse of the mesmerizing Laurebinayak Pass (4,610m). So, why wait any longer?
