Embark on a journey to Sundarijal, which is located a 45-minute drive away from Kathmandu. Sundarijal, meaning "Beautiful Waterfall" in English, serves as the main source of drinking water for Kathmandu. Once we arrive at Sundarijal, we will enter the Shivapuri Nagarkot National Park and make our way to Chisapani. Chisapani, translated as "cold water," offers breathtaking views of dense forests, snow-covered peaks, and the panoramic beauty of the Kathmandu Valley. Along the way, we will pass by streams, farmland, and local villages, immersing ourselves in the magnificence of the surroundings. Our continuous trek will lead us to Chisapani Village, which is predominantly inhabited by the Tamang community. This trek will take us through the charming village of Mulkharka, adding to the overall excellence of our journey.

The town also provides breathtaking views of the snow-capped Himalayan mountains, including the Annapurna Range, Manaslu Ranges, Ganesha Himla, Langtang, and Jugal. After a 4-5 hour hike through Shivapuri National Park, we will arrive at Chisapani Village. Chisapani is a picturesque village located within Shivapuri National Park, offering stunning views of the lush green hills and majestic Himalayan peaks, including Mt. Everest. The next day, we will continue our journey towards Nagarkot, which takes approximately 6-7 hours along the National Park. Nagarkot is one of the best vantage points in the Kathmandu valley to witness the beauty of the Himalayan ranges during sunrise and sunset, as well as the panoramic view of the Kathmandu Valley. On the third day of the trek, we will hike for 5–6 hours to reach Changunarayan Temple, the oldest temple square in the Kathmandu Valley, from Nagarkot. Finally, we will drive back to Kathmandu through the historic Newari town of Bhaktapur.
