After enjoying your breakfast, join our crew at the Hotel and embark on a journey to Syabrubeshi, the starting point for your trek. The drive will take approximately 5 to 6 hours from Kathmandu. As you traverse through the picturesque landscape, you will witness the beauty of the lush green river valley, charming mountain villages, a hydropower station, and captivating rice terraces. Along the way, you will also pass through the Brahmins and Chhetries villages at lower elevations, while the Tamang villages await you at higher elevations. Once you arrive at Dhunche, make sure to check in at the Langtang National Park, Nepal's first Himalayan National Park, which was established in 1976. From there, a short 45-minute drive will take you to Syaphru Beshi (1550m), where you will spend the night.

Embark on the Tamang Heritage trail after a hearty breakfast, as you begin your ascent towards Rongga Bhanjyang. The landscape undergoes a remarkable change as you enter the valleys nestled at the base of the Himal Ganesh ridge. I followed the pedestrian path, which took me approximately two hours to reach the summit. It is advisable to take a momentary pause here and replenish yourself. Beyond this point, the trail to Gatlang village is marked by yellow circle markers. Upon completing the ascent, you will be greeted by a magnificent view of the snow-covered mountain range, and there is a cozy spot to indulge in tea and snacks. Following the ascent, a leisurely two-hour walk awaits you on the route leading to Gatlang village, with clear route markings to guide your way.

The second day of the Tamang Heritage Trek will take you to Tatopani, a Natural Hot Spring, after enjoying a hearty breakfast. The day will commence with a pleasant descent lasting around an hour and a half, leading you to a bridge and a village near Chilime, where you can take a delightful break. This picturesque village offers a captivating glimpse into the local way of life and the surrounding farmland. After the break, you will embark on a steep ascent of 500 meters to another village called Gonggang, where you can also take a rest. Continuing from Gonggang, there will be another two-hour ascent to reach Tatopani. In the western part of the village, there is an observation point just a ten-minute walk from the guesthouse area. From this beautiful vantage point, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Langtang ridge, the Ganesh Himal, and several peaks in Tibet.

The trek reached its pinnacle on this particular day, not only due to the breathtaking scenery but also because of the genuine interaction with the locals in the picturesque village of Nagathali. A challenging climb of approximately 500 meters, lasting 4-5 hours, will lead you to the charming and scenic village of Nagathali, situated at an elevation of 3,165 meters. Nagathali is truly a magical place, boasting the title of the most exquisite village along the trek, with a mere four houses. These houses also serve as guesthouses, and the locals are incredibly hospitable. Nagathali offers a captivating trip to Taruche, which takes around 5-6 hours on a moderately difficult trail. To witness the stunning panoramic views from the lookout point with optimal visibility, it is advisable to start early in the morning. If you wish to extend your stay, an additional day before reaching Thuman is recommended. Following Nagathali, we embarked on a remarkable descent towards Thuman, where we were treated to the awe-inspiring sight of the colossal Langtang Mountain (peak - 7,542 meters) and the entire ridge.

After having breakfast, we start our journey towards Bridim. The trail takes us down to the Bhote Koshi River, where we cross a suspension bridge and proceed with our trek to Briddhim. Admiring the stunning landscapes, we ascend until we reach the Tamang village of Buddhism. Later in the day, we pay a visit to Dukchu Monastery, a sacred location said to be handpicked by Guru Rimpoche, a prominent Tibetan Lama. We spend the night at a lodge in Bridim.

As we say goodbye to Briddim, we embark on the final leg of our trek back to Syabrubensi. The descent through a forested path filled with vibrant rhododendrons leads us to Wangal. With the breathtaking Langtang Lirung (7227m) and Ganesh Himal (7422m) in view, we trek onwards to Syabrubensi. Our accommodation for the night will be at a lodge in Syabrubesi.

On the final day of our trekking journey, we return to the capital city from Syabrubensi in a public jeep or bus. We traverse the familiar rough road until we reach Trishuli. Along the way, we are treated to breathtaking views of majestic mountains, sprawling hills, flowing rivers, and the bustling daily lives of the local people. Finally, we arrive in Kathmandu and ensure your comfortable stay by transferring you to the hotel for the night. As a gesture of farewell, our company, Himalayan Trekking Path, offers a delightful farewell dinner.

Before your scheduled flight, our team representative will accompany you to Tribhuvan International Airport, ensuring you arrive approximately 3 hours in advance for your final departure. We look forward to the opportunity of hosting you again in the future. Bon Voyage!
