The vivid scenery of randomly interspersed houses in Kathmandu appears startling from the window of the airplane, just before you land in the airport. One of our representatives would be waiting for your arrival at the exit point of the airport, where he/she would greet you with a welcoming smile and a hospitable Namaste and then, escort you towards your hotel.

Ease up your jet-lagged body in your hotel room. If you feel like rambling around, then the marketplace in Thamel, a tourist hub, is the best place to hang-out. You will meet your guide in the evening, and he/she will explain everything about the trip, including all the required information.

Kathmandu is, indeed, a historic city bedecked with time-honored monuments and architectural facets throughout the backstreet alleys. On this day, we will visit some of the most brilliant architectural pieces inside the valley, which have secured their names in the book of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Swayambhunath Temple and Boudhanath Stupa are two of these sites, which are famous for their unique morphological outlook. While its anatomy is mostly adorned with the enthralling paintings of the Lord Buddha, visitors of all religions are welcome to join the prayer ceremonies. It is one of the most peaceful places in the world. Similarly, Pashupatinath temple is a Hindu holy shrine that is primarily dedicated to Lord Shiva (one of the three supreme Hindu deities of this universe). Within this complex only, there are 518 temples and monuments, which is a lot when it comes to seeing them together within a specified territory.

Patan Durbar Square, on the other hand, is uniquely different from all of the above edifices. The intricate designs and wooden carvings in this historical Malla palace still shine from afar. Its pillars and walls are painted with delicate images of gods, and the outer courtyards are garnished with sculptures that look like both a god and a demon.

After sightseeing, return to your hotel for the overnight stay.

Even today, we will go on a sightseeing tour, but some of the activities also include hiking. Early in the morning, we will have our breakfast at Kathmandu and then, kick-off towards Bhaktapur to enroll in the exotic settings of Bhaktapur Durbar Square, which is just a name that epitomizes the four different squares in total- Durbar Square, Taumadhi Square, Dattatreya Square, and Pottery Square.

After exploring Bhaktapur, we will catch a drive to Changunarayan Temple, which is the oldest temple of Nepal that is built in around 4th century by the King Mandev. Although the reformation works have been carried out time and again, its beautiful carvings still lure the visitors. Being situated at the hilltop, the Changunarayan temple is a beautiful vantage point, also offering vivid views of the Bhaktapur city. From Bhaktapur, Nagarkot is just a couple of kilometers away; so, we will make our journey by foot until there. By the time we reached Nagarkot, it would have been late afternoon. So, we will make our overnight stay there.

Subsequently, after witnessing the glorious sunrise from the viewpoint of Nagarkot, we will head on towards Kathmandu via a car/jeep and then, catch a long drive to Chitwan.

Chitwan is drastically different than Kathmandu in many respects- topography, climate, people, culture, language, and many more. Once we arrive in Chitwan, we will go for a short walk along the bank of the river to watch the sunset from the never-ending plains of Chitwan. It is really an amazing day, but still, more surprises await the next day.

Chitwan has been the global attraction site for the last couple of decades.  Today, we will catch a short canoe ride in the Rapti River, which, indeed, is an amazing opportunity to see Gharials and Muggers basking in the sun. After that, we will go on a safari- either via Jeep or Elephant- to encounter the wild creatures by surprise. To see one-horned rhinoceros, it is not a big deal; however, the royal Bengal tiger is a rarely sighted creature in the forest of Chitwan. With over 650 species of birds (including the migratory ones), Chitwan has claimed its title of being one of the best spots for Bird-watching. If you are a passionate photographer than you should stay in this place for a bit of a long time.

From Chitwan, Lumbini can be reached in about 5-6 hours, but it largely depends upon the traffic. Once we reach there, we will stroll around the Mayadevi temple, which is the place where Lord Buddha was born. The great Ashoka Pillar, by the side of the temple, epitomizes the historical existence of the Lord Buddha. Around the premises of the temple, there are several chronicles (some in English) that explain the historical importance of the site. Apart from these, we will go to see the great Baby Buddha Statue, ahead of which burns the eternal flame (aka Shanti Dip or flame of peace). Also, there are over 10 brilliant monasteries, built by several nations including Nepal, in the periphery of the temple where we can gape on the inner décor of the temple.

Palpa is a vibrant place, full of amazing people and explorers, caving out the mysteries of the Sen Kingdom that governed Palpa in the past for over 300 years. The houses around palpa are built in the typical Newari Style, which is a wonderful spot to gaze on. Another attraction of Palpa is the Rani Mahal, which is the historical palace of the queen of Palpa. Being situated on the hilly section of Nepal, a few spots in Palpa offer outstanding views of the mountains. For the night, we will stay in Palpa and head on towards Pokhara.

Palpa to Pokhara is a pleasant ride because a lot of natural surprises awaits you. It is just a four hours ride; so, once you arrive at Pokhara, you may start your sightseeing around the Davis fall, Mahendra cave and Bat cave (Chameru Gufa). Davis fall is the underground waterfall, which is measured as the deepest waterfall in Nepal. However, the real thunder of Davis wall could only be seen in the monsoon.
