Mera Peak is renowned as one of the most sought-after and tallest trekking peaks, offering an exhilarating climb to an altitude of 6467m. Mera Peak, standing at an impressive elevation of 6476m, proudly holds the title of being the highest trekking peak in Nepal. However, it is crucial to note that at such a lofty altitude, the oxygen levels in the air are significantly reduced, measuring less than half of what one would find at sea level. Consequently, we strongly advise against embarking on Mera Peak as your inaugural high-altitude trek.

Mera Peak is considered a Grade PD (Peu Difficile) climb—physically demanding but technically moderate. The main challenge is altitude, long walking days, and cold conditions rather than technical climbing.

Basic previous trekking experience helps, but no advanced technical climbing experience is required. However, you must be comfortable using crampons, ice axe, harness, and ropes. Most companies provide pre-climb training.
