Chandra Rai completed his higher secondary education (10+2) before beginning his trekking career as a porter in 2015. Through consistent hard work, determination, and extensive hands-on experience, he progressed to become a licensed trekking guide in 2020. Since then, he has developed an impressive professional portfolio, including the successful summit of Mera Peak (6,470m) and leading a wide range of treks across Nepal’s most renowned regions.
His guiding experience covers major trekking destinations such as Kanchenjunga, Annapurna, Everest Base Camp, Everest Three Passes, and the challenging Mera High Pass (5,800m), which he has crossed more than 10 times. In addition, he has led treks in remote and culturally rich areas, including the Langtang Valley and the Manaslu region, demonstrating his versatility and in-depth knowledge of diverse trekking terrains.
