The Himalayan Trekking Path provides a range of options for Upper Mustang tours, including trekking, Jeep tours, bike tours, and horseback rides. We offer you the opportunity to choose the experience that suits you best in this well-preserved region of Nepal. Our bike tour starts and ends in Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal, which offers numerous routes to discover Nepal's hidden treasures, ancient culture, and remarkable art and architecture. To begin the Upper Mustang bike tour, you can either take a tourist coach or a flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara, the gateway to the region, where you will spend a night before embarking on the journey to Upper Mustang.

After departing from Pokhara City, your journey on the Upper Mustang Tour will commence as you cycle along the Beni Baglung Highway. Along the way, you will traverse through a multitude of captivating villages, rivers, verdant valleys, and terraced fields. This scenic route will take you through the Kaligandaki River valley, known as the deepest gorge in the world. Take a break and indulge in the natural hot springs at Tatopani Village for a rejuvenating overnight stay. Continuing onwards, you will make your way to Jomsom, passing through the awe-inspiring Kalopani and Marpha, with the majestic Dhaulagiri ranges serving as a breathtaking backdrop.

Embark on an uninterrupted expedition aboard a timeless Enfield 500 cc or a 411 Enfield Himalayan bike as we venture towards Kagbeni from Jomsom, traversing a path characterized by sand, dust, and gusty winds. Leaving behind the verdant and fertile valley, we make our way towards the arid rain-shadow zone of the Himalayas. Upon reaching Kagbeni, we embark on a captivating excursion to the revered Muktinath Temple, a significant pilgrimage site for followers of Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism. Immerse yourself in the beauty of the Kaligandaki valley, behold the majestic Buddha statue, marvel at the towering Nilgiri Himal (7061m), and be enchanted by the dry yet enchanting landscape that surrounds you.

The Upper Mustang Bike Tour commences at Kagbeni and progresses towards Lo-Mangthang, the capital of the Lo Kingdom and the primary attraction of the Upper Mustang Tour. Upon completing the necessary check-in procedures for the restricted area and Annapurna Conservation, we will proceed towards Chhuksang, followed by an uphill ride to Tangbe (3060m) and eventually downhill to Chhuksang (2980m). We will pause at a picturesque location to capture some unforgettable moments. The motorbike expedition then continues to Chele (3050m) after crossing the Kali Gandi River. You will have the opportunity to explore the enchanting world as you pass through various villages, caves, monasteries, cliffs, partially green valleys, and snow-capped mountains. Finally, you will ride your motorbike to Lo-Mangtang (3810m), Choser (3961m), and the Tibet border (Kora La-4660 m), along with the Dajori La-3735 m pass to Samar (3660m), Yamdo La pass-3800m to Syanboche (3800m), Ghiling (3570m) to Ghami (3520m) via Nyi La-4010 m, and Charang to Lo Manangthang (3810m) via Lo pass-3950 m. Throughout the journey, you will have the opportunity to appreciate the region's natural beauty and immerse yourself in its rich culture. The Upper Mustang Bike Tour concludes upon your return to Kathmandu.
